Abstract: The results of calculation of horizontal layer of rock, located at the roof of rectangular cross-section mine working are presented. The calculation was made within the proposed geomechanical approach based on the geomechanics decision-consistent problem in two stages. In the first phase the theory elastic problem is solved of and the second - structural me-chanics rod systems.
