Abstract: The characteristics of different lamps to illuminate the classrooms of Russian and foreign manufacturers of lighting products are resulted. The influence of characteristics of the lamps to energy saving in lighting installations is analyzed. Results of survey of the state of lighting installations of KuzSTU are resulted, Power savings by using energy efficient lamps is defined.
