Abstract: Substantiation was carried out and interrelations were demonstrated in order to determine rates of opencast mine single-bucket excavators technical level from the point of functional assessment criterion view. Complex of these rates can quantatively determine technical perfection of single-bucket excavators compare them to each other, determine basic direction technical level increasing, optimize newly designed machines profiles.
