Abstract: As a part of products initiated by a cumene peroxide liquid-phase oxidation the butanoic acid are identified and quantitatively determination: H2O2; 1-propylhydroperoxide + 1-propanol; organic peroxides; 2,3- epoxybutanoic acid; 3-butyryloxy-2-hydroxybutanoic acid; 2-butenoic acid; 2-oxobutanoic acid; 2-hydroperoxybutanoic acid; 2-hydroxybutanoic acid; γ- butyrolactone (4- hydroperoxybutanoic acid).
