Abstract: The method of profiling of the disk tool for processing of screw surfaces of details is offered. Difference of method from the known ones consists in theoretical approach to definition of a line contact surfaces of the tool and detail. It is offered to consider it as an orthogonal projection of an axis of the disk tool to a screw surface of a detail.
