Abstract: Change stages of gas-dynamic conditions of a face part of coal seam are considered: the initial stage of operation of the mechanised longwall set of equipment and after achievement of a designed speed of a face advance. Intensity of gas emission in a massif and from broken-down coal depending on a pressure drop at different stages of coal-face works is estimated.
