Abstract: The paper concerns the results of in-mine tests of the method and device to control endogenous fire hazard using heat-transfer properties of mine air. The results of observation of specific humidity, relative humidity, overall amount of a steam and liquid aerosol and air temperature of mine airflow are submitted. The ability to detect an endogenous fire using overall amount of a steam and liquid aerosol in mine air is revealed.
