Abstract: The average values of basic cost indexes of complete capacitor banks are resulted. The graphs of dependence of annual costs on capacitor banks from their rated power are presented. The conclusion on admissibility of use of assumption about linear dependence of annual costs on capacitor banks from their rated power at the decision of problem of optimization of reactive power compensation is made.
