Abstract: The article is about the improvement of the validation method for design parameters of overburden industrial haul roads at open-pit coal mines. This method suggests the usage of crushed overburden with balanced grain texture for the design layer of road paving. A special nomographic chart that allows to determine the needed depth of the industrial haul road paving was developed to implement the method.
