Abstract: We propose a device for determining the strength and deformation properties of the rock by pressing the indenter into the wall of the well. The main features of this device is to test high hard rock, record the measured parameters to removable memory and interpretation of the properties of the array by a mathematical model of the stress-strain state of the rocks in the wells under the indenter.
