Abstract: In this paper, we investigate a variety of methods for online evaluation of the rate of fatigue degradation of electromechanical machinery. We establish the limits of applicability of statistical methods. We present the description of an algorithmic approach to estimation of fatigue durability of components of electromechanical systems. The method has been successfully used in production. We also outline avenues for improved implementations of this approach.
