Abstract: Historical formation ontology-and- praxeological, axiological and gnoseological aspects of outlooks of natural centrism and anthropocentrism in east and western countries from a position genuinely ecological world outlook (ecocentrism) is analysed. It is shown, that ecocentrist outlook is a basis for a new philosophical direction - ecological philosophy. Necessity of formation of ecological philosophy is proved.
