Abstract: The analysis of modern technologies of gasification of carbon containing materials is carried out. It is shown that from the economic point of view the way in the presence of high-temperature steam (to 1200°С) the low pressure, received at burning of a hydrogen-oxygen mix with injection of steam in a hydrogen torch can be one of the most comprehensible ways of gasification of coal.
