Abstract: 1-Dialkylaminoanthraquinones containing in 2-position amino or acylamino group can be cyclicized by thermolysis in polar solvent different route: ringclosure takes place to form anthra[1,9-bc]pyrroles, anthra[1,2-d]imidazoles or anthra[2,1-d]oxazoles.
