Abstract: Reaction between 1,2-di(pyrazol-1-yl)-1,2-dichloroethanes and pyrazole, 3(5)-methylpyrazole and 3,5-dimethylpyrazole in a superbasic medium KOH-DMSO was investigated. It was found, that substitution products – tetra(pyrazol-1-yl)ethane, as well as elimination products – tris(pyrazol-1-yl)ethenes are formed.
