Abstract: The technology of electrocontact himiko-thermal processing of a steel (ECCTP) in which result the layer of white pig-iron is put on its surface, for the purpose of wear resistance increase is developed. Are investigated structure and properties of a surface became after ECCTP and is shown that roughting instruments, made of a carbonaceous steel, after ECCTP can be used for processing of details from nonferrous metals.
