Abstract: Much attention is given to research of a structurally phase state of steel 35HGS after mechanical thermal processing in a superficial layer on depth of 1,0 and 1,5 mm from a surface of a product. Grain structure, internal defects of grains, a condition carbide phases, internal pressure and condition of a firm solution of α-phase using methods of raster electron microscopy, diffraction electron microscopy on thin foils and X-ray diffraction analysis are considered.
