Abstract: Situation on the Russian market of hydraulic excavators with small and middle shovel’s volume and its influence on composition of the Kuzbass fleet of these machines are researched. The exposing of shovels to be damaged, is preliminary apprised, most frequent damages, decreasing of the capacity of work, are named. The problem actuality and importance of its decision are underlined.
