Abstract: The article, on the example of the company Evraz Holding, considers methods for modelling the development of regional metallurgical cluster in connection with increasing competition in the global and domestic markets. Using the experience of regional clusters, metallurgical corporations «collect» the frame of cluster, i.e. resources, technologies, science and education, production, marketing, human resources, social infrastructure. In practice these tasks are solved step by step: 1) «collecting» the main assets; 2) business building on the principles of corporate; 3) corporations build some protoklaster structures with the prospect of further transformation into the formation called by a row of experts «corporate cluster».
