Abstract: The calculate procedure of static, cyclical strength and definition of a resource of operation of cranked and crank shafts of piston compressors is presented. Problems of definition of the maximum forces perceived by shafts, stress-deformed state of separate sections of shafts, factors of stock of durability and assumed exploitation resource was considered. The technique is approved at expertise of industrial safety of the compressors at the chemical enterprizes of the region.
