Abstract: Results of a overall quality control of steel grades used for manufacturing the hydraulic cylinder legs in a state of delivery and after heat treatment are presente. Recommendations on steel grades and heat treatment selection are developed to ensure the reliability and durability of hydraulic legs in the course of operating.
