Abstract: Rating system of student knowledge evaluation is the one of innovations in the reform process of high school. Authors of the article use the example of the student poll embracing several groups of two faculties of Kuzbass state technical university to reveal the introduction problems of the system. The conclusion is that there is a strong need of regular monitoring of student attitude to this innovation.
