Abstract: The demand for new rotation-percussion drilling equipment to make holes 40-60 mm in diameter to 50 m long is validated, a drill installation equipped with a downhole pneumatic drill is designed and manufactured, and analytical-experimental tests on drilling velocity in rocks of various hardness are carried out.
