Abstract: This paper contains a detailed classification of the most common defects smaller generator type dragline excavators groups operated on coal cuts of Kuzbass. The evaluation of the effectiveness of control methods in the parameters of mechanical vibrations, formulated the basic diagnostic signs of damage detection of this type of equipment as a result of the dynamic analysis of the parameters VIB-roakusticheskih waves generated during its operation is given. The efficiency of integrated diagnoistic approach to evaluate the technical condition of the small generator type dragline excavators groups is founded. The necessity of the transition to a system of maintenance of equipment for its actual technical condition is proved.
