Abstract: The expenditure kinetics of peroxide compounds, accumulation α-hydroxyperoxyester and ε-caprolactone at cyclohexanone oxidation by peroxylauric acid at 18 ºС according to Baeyer-Villiger is well described proceeding from the assumption of course of reaction through two intermediat: α-hydroxyperoxyester and dioxirane (1,2-dioxa-spiro[2,5]octane). Effective constants of stages of reaction are calculated. It is shown that through dioxirane about 5% ε-caprolactone are formed.
