Abstract: Article presents a comparative assessment of the level of economic protection of the Siberian Federal District, in the five places, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Tomsk oregions, Krasnoyarsk and Altai areas. Original analysis of the influence of some indicators on quantitatively estimate of factors protection of the regional economy (the level of the economic potential, the efficiency of use of the economic potential, the attractiveness of the region for the population, the attractiveness of the region for business, the level of innovation in the economy of the region) is made on materials of Kemerovo region.
