Abstract: Results of investigation of the release of carbon monoxide substances used in mines, as well as coal dust in the low-temperature oxidation. It was found that the release of carbon dioxide from some of the materials used and the resulting coal dust can reduce the effectiveness of gas detection method for detecting endogenous fires.
