Abstract: The article deals with the definition of stages of deformation and destruction of rocks on the basis of reception of a pulse of electromagnetic radiation. The results of experimental study of the mechanical deformation of the samples of sedimentary and igneous rocks according to electromagnetic radiation in the radio and optical bands. By the nature of the allocation of AMY and characteristics produced by the division into stages of destruction of the sample (gap separate communication, education elementary defect patterns, clustering, education microti communities). The conclusions about the differences in division into stages for sedimentary and igneous rocks.
Key words: deformation rocks fracturing pulsed electromagnetic radiation radio light
