Abstract: In recent years, increased interest in renewable energy sources, in particular hydroelectricity. The article considers the possibility of electrification of remote areas of the Kemerovo region with micro hydroelectric power station, and provides information about the hydroelectric potential of the rivers region Mountain Shoria.The work was carried out classification of the main types of structures of micro hydroelectric power station.The possibility of a stand-alone power supply system based on micro hydro, are the basic requirements for such systems and their design philosophy.On the positive side of hydropower refers, first of all, the absence of emissions of combustion products into the atmosphere, as well as the relatively low cost of the energy produced.Hydropower resources of the region are not used and are conducive to the development of small hydropower.
