Abstract: The conditions of work of long holes used in the Kuzbass for degassing interstratal strata and worked-out areas since 2011 in the quality-stve experiment. Analyzes the first results at the mine to them. CM. Kirov SUEK-Kuzbass and describes the features of gas into wells at their directional drilling to great length to 1000 meters. Characteristic periods during capping of methane from solid depending on the gas content in the zone of the passage hole. It is proposed to introduce a refinement in the method of calculating the total volume of gas released into the well from the start of drilling until the full completion of its operation.
