Abstract: The article analyzes some aspects of the corporate governance practices of the largest Russian companies in the field of environmental responsibility. Criteria to transparency in the field of environmental parameters of their activities. According to these criteria, all of the companies are distributed across the levels of information transparency. Identified a group of companies with a low level of development of certain elements of corporate governance practices in environmental responsibility.
