Abstract: The paper presents the results of modeling the stress state of an earthfill dam and the algorithm for analytical calculation of the factor of sustainability that is implemented in the computer program "Sustainable mound". Equations of multiple regression, allows to control the physico-mechanical properties of man-induced dispersed soil or parameters of the dam, providing a normative value for the factor of sustainability.
