Abstract: The article describes the construction of the filters that are part of electric centrifugal pump (ECP), oil and gas fields of the Russian Federation. The analysis of these filter designs and their parameters. The optimal conditions of operation, in the region where the filter design has the most rational use. The necessity of improving the current structures, a high content of mechanical impurities in the produced formation fluid. The preconditions for improvement in some filter designs.
