Abstract: This article explains the need to improve the technologies used for well workover and coiled tubing unit design which are used in regions of the Far North at temperatures below - 55 ° C. The statistical data on coiled tubing unit faults and their subsequent analysis are presented. Prerequisites are formulated for developing methodology on assessing the quality of coiled tubing units, which are used in harsh environments, on the basis of the reliability analysis of their work. The possible prospects for developing domestic coiled tubing are mentioned.
