Abstract: The article discusses ways to address the maintenance of internal heating surfaces of heating equipment in beznakipnom state that at this point in time is an important task. Analyzes applied in practice, chemical and physical methods of water softening: reagent, ion exchange and membrane techniques, magnetic water treatment. Studied process discussed method, the selection of which depends on the initial water quality and desired level of softening. As a result, differences were found between the degree of protection methods for the efficiency of heating equipment from scale. Performed laboratory studies on the effect of electromagnetic field of water treatment on the scale formation at different values on-the magnetic field intensity in a closed and in an open system. Water Treatment electromagnetic field was carried out by passing it through the pole area of the electromagnet is perpendicular to the magnetic field lines. From the obtained results of the analysis, the following conclusions about the effectiveness of the method used: to increase the strength of the magnetic field increases the effectiveness of protection against scale water-heating equipment; antinakipnoy protection efficiency hot water in water treatment equipment electromagnetic field in open systems behind closed cycles.
