Abstract: The evaluation of the effectiveness of the lack of labor protection at the enterprises of Kuzbass region of the Russian Federation, which is characterized by a high level of accidents, including severe consequences. The analysis of occupational injuries with serious consequences, and proposes an approach for assessing the effectiveness of the system of labor protection on the basis of systematic criteria and indicators. The analysis of occupational injuries in the Kuzbass enterprises; methodical and methodological approaches to the development of criteria and indicators for assessing the effectiveness of activities in the field of labor protection.
