Abstract: We propose a model of a complete diagram of the compression of rocks for determination of deformation and strength properties of rocks at a volume compression. Model piecewise linear graph of compression is based on the determination of the compressive strength, residual strength and modulus of recession. Use physical relations: failure criterion, equality and the beyond of the limiting energy of deformation and experimental laws. Comparison of theoretical and experimental values of ultimate strength of rocks showed the adequacy of the proposed model.
