Abstract: The article refers to biographical the direction of historical research and is dedicated to the life of an outstanding Church Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Bishop of Arcadia (Ershov). Bishop Arkady played a significant role in the struggle against the revisionist and the Gregorian schism in the Urals, which caused special discontent of the authorities of the OGPU. After surviving several arrest and detention in prison, the Bishop was sentenced to five years in Siberian camps. In the camp he had brought against a new case, which resulted in the shooting of Bishop canonized. The issue of political repression against the Church and the Church hierarchy in the Soviet Union has long been a subject of intense study of both ecclesiastical and secular historians. Not only historical, but also moral objective is the restoration of names of the repressed, innocent victims of a totalitarian regime, the same theme actualizarea task of asserting religious tolerance and personal freedom. The main aim of the study: On the basis of archival documents and literature explore the way of life of the Martyr Bishop of Arcadia. Read more how allow the archival documents, represent the last period of his life in the Novo-Ivanovskoye OLP Siblag, located on the territory of Kuzbass.
