Abstract: The article is finish part of the authors’ research about innovative transformation of the Kuzbass economy and innovative development of the Kuzbass coal industry as an impetus to increase the competitive advantages of the region (the research is prepared within the framework of the project No. 14-02-00274 supported by funding from the Russian Foundation for Humanities). The article discusses the authors’ forecasting estimates of regional competitiveness under the using of the scenarios (pessimistic, moderate and optimistic) of the innovative development of the Kuzbass coal industry.
