Abstract: The article presents the analysis of the existing situation in the power system of the Kemerovo region. It show generating capacity, describes the operation of the energy system, as well as a study on the distribution of electricity consumption by industry. The proposal to reduce the deficit of energy production in the Kemerovo region, as one of the ways to improve the mode of operation of the Kuzbass energy system deals with the reconstruction of 110 kV substation Belovskaya. The conclusions from the analysis.
