Abstract: The article substantiates the need for the development of power and design parameters of the executive bodies of geohods for breaking rocks of low hardness. For setting goals and objectives of the study proved the physical and mechanical characteristics of the rock a small fortress, presented the structure of the executive bodies of the existing mining and earthmoving equipment, as well as identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
