Abstract: The article analyzes ways to improve the reliability of power supply of coal mines in Kuzbass. The selection of the most optimal and cost saving third independent source of electrical energy, which increases the reliability of power supply for one of the operating mines of the Kemerovo region was made. Also, there was made the comparison of the reasonability of using independent sources of electrical energy and additional power line for the first category consumers mine’s power supply. The topic of this scientific paper is relevant for the Kemerovo Region.
