Abstract: The catalytic activity of ionic liquid triethylamine hydrochloride - aluminum chloride for the isomerization process of normal alkanes C5-C6 has been studied. Addition of cobalt sulfate in the reaction system of n-hexane isomerisation leads to an increase in its conversion by 20%, and the total yield of the desired isocomponent (isobutane, isopentane, isohexane) increases by 25% at 60 ° C as compared to the sample without additions.
