Abstract: This article applies to biographical research area, it examines the way of life of the deceased in the Yaya OLP Bishop Amphilochius, a missionary, a fighter with Renovationism and other Church schisms. Amphilochius was a prisoner of the Solovetsky camp, passed through the Siberian camps. In the Yaya camp before the expiry of the time against him was initiated a new criminal case in which the rchbishop was sentenced to death. History of political persecution of the Orthodox Church in the USSR has long been a subject of study of ecclesiastical and secular historians. Not only historical, but also moral task is to restore the names of the repressed, innocent victims of the totalitarian regime, This theme actualizarea also the task of asserting religious tolerance and personal freedom. The purpose of this study is to examine the life of a Bishop Amphilochius, re-covery as archival documents, the last period of his life in the Yaya OLP Siblag, the correction of the inaccura-cies that have crept into the description of the biography of Bishop Amphilochius.
