Abstract: The paper is devoted to an implementation of the FPGA-based technological automation and protection system of the mine hoist. The structure of the technological automation and protection system is proposed. Examples of implementation of some modules are given. The application of automata-based programming and the principle of modularity in the implementation of the technological automation and protection system, built on the basis of programmable logic devices are considered. The effectiveness of this approach is shown. The time diagrams of the modules are given.
