Abstract: The article describes a system for heating the water supplied to the mine air heating installation by the flue gases coming from the boiler plant. The flue gases pass through a heat exchanger coil located in the water tank. Heat is transferred from the flue gases to the water through the wall of the water coil. The automation system assumes control of the parameters of heated water and the management of transportation of the heat carrier in the mine air heating installation. In order to improve the efficiency of heating the water in the system it is proposed to install two types of devices for its mixing: a propeller mixer and / or pneumatic agitator ("Jacuzzi"). The water heated in the reservoir flows through the mixing chamber into the mine air heating installation. Depending on the desired flow rate and temperature of water in the air preparation system, the water is supplied either directly from the boiler unit or heated from the heat exchanger. The article presents the method of calculating heat transfer from the flue gas of the boiler plant to the water in the conditions of the heat carrier turbulence. In the work an example is shown of the calculation of the heat energy. It is demonstrated that the proposed system using the energy of flue gases in the mine air heating installations can be effective for energy saving in the air preparation for underground mining operations in the cold season.
