Abstract: The study of the deformation characteristics of the base is the most important component in the selection of design solutions in construction. A comparison of the results of determining the deformation characteristics of soils by different field and laboratory methods on the example of engineering and geological surveys within the construction site of apartment buildings with underground parking on Stoletova street in the Kalininsky district of Novosibirsk is given. The interpretation of the test results is considered and the correction coefficients between the deformation characteristics obtained in the laboratory and the parameters measured during field tests of soils by static sounding, dilatometer, static loads of piles are given. The necessity of establishing corrective coefficients for the development of territorial building standards for the city is substantiated.
