Abstract: The result and quality of phosphating depend on a large number of influencing factors — the primary material, pre-cleaning of the surface, the rinsing process, the temperature and composition of the solution, and the duration of the process. An overview of the types of phosphating is given. The authors conducted experimental studies of various phosphating processes. The results of corrosion tests of phosphate coatings obtained by us in solutions of different composition under different conditions are presented. During the study, it was found that cold phosphating is more economical, since the solution is stored for a long time, no additional costs are required to maintain the temperature of the solution.
