Abstract: The article studies the wear rate of plasma-sprayed coatings from self-fluxing powder based on austenitic steels. The effect of additional laser processing of a plasma-sprayed coating is shown. Also, to determine the optimal parameters of the processes of plasma spraying and la-ser processing, a calculation was carried out using a central rotatable composition plan of the 2nd order. An equation that relates the parameters of plasma spraying and laser processing with wear rate is obtained.
