Abstract: Qualitative and quantitative composition natural gas of coal bed of Taldinskoе deposit was explored. It was shown by methods of gas-liquid chromatography and gas adsorbtion chromatography that gas contained methane in an amount of 97-98 %, concentration of methane homologues is around to 0,02 %, non-hydrocarbon gases contain at the level of 1-2 %. Re-vealed that for coal-bed gas the content of sulfur compounds is not typical, which greatly improves its environmental area.
